Lee's Grandmother went to be with Jesus over the weekend. She died peacefully with Lee holding her hand and the family at her side. We are now working to plan the funeral service that will honor such a full life and strong legacy. Thanks for all of your prayers and support.

Lee, I know how very close you were with your Grandmother...Margaret E was an amazing, Godly, spirit-filled lady. I am so thankful that God allowed her to be part of our lives for
as long as He did and I especially grateful that His plan allowed you to spend that precious time with her before she went to Heaven. What a special gift that He would put it all together for your physical healing to take place so she would see you healthy again! I know that THRILLED her....anytime I talked with her, you were always part of our conversation---she was so very proud of you and Steve.
I am sorry that we will not be able to make it to Knoxville for her service---you will all continue to remain in our prayers. I know that our faith allows us all to rejoice in her going home to Heaven---but that does not totally remove the pain of missing her earthly presence. I
am so thankful you have so many wonderful memories of and with her---Scott's personal favorite is the picture of her in her motorcycle "get-up". Daddy mentioned to me that your Mom had told him what you had said about why she passed away on Saturday instead of Sunday---that she had to get the table set for your
grandfather's birthday party. Love that! So her. Michelle (my youngest sister) said this when Daddy told her that Margaret E has passed away---"You know Jesus is getting an ear-full". Love that. She loved people and she loved to engage with people. She will be missed. We love y'all and will continue to pray for all of you.

Hi Lee and Steve - Mere words are insufficient to provide solace at times like these, but we are so very sorry for your loss.
So, to help with the inadequacy of the verbal, here are two prescriptions for you:
1. Self administered. Place palm of right hand on outside of left shoulder and palm of left hand on outside of right shoulder. Squeeze elbows towards stomach.
Repeat PRN.
2. Need an assistant, preferably Steve but you could use a substitute, if desired or availability is not immediate. Place inside of left elbow of assistant on outside of your right
shoulder. Allow assistant's arm to drape across your shoulders/back. Place inside of right elbow of assistant on outside of your left shoulder, allow arms to drape across your shoulders/back. direct assistant to squeeze arms. Repeat as needed. Know that we are thinking of you and send our love and prayers. Kathy and Jim

I remember her well. I used to deliver the mail to the apartments she managed and had the joy of getting to know her. Such a lovely woman. She was always so efficient and friendly. So sorry to hear of your loss.
