Prayer for Surgery Today

Hey Everybody, this is Stephanie again.

As Lee prepares for her surgery today I wanted to update you on specific ways we can be praying for her. Last night was a rough one for Lee with bad muscle spasms in her neck and headaches. The hard collar gives her some relief, but she is not able to wear it at night so that her surgical wounds may heal properly.

1.Please pray for pain control before and after the surgery, not only from the surgeries but also for specific relief from the muscle spasms and headaches.

2.The anesthesia they will be using today is the same as her surgery last week. Pray that it works as it did before and that there are no complications.

3.Pray for wisdom for the surgical team and for steady hands. This is a shorter surgery and should only take 2-

3 hours but it is still a complex one because of the spinal cord.

4.Pray for peace for Lee and Steve and their family as they go through the process of this surgery.

5.Pray for protection over Lee throughout the whole surgery and a quick recovery afterward.

Her surgery begins at 3:00 pm EST (12:00 pm PST). It should last about 2-3 hours. Please pray specifically during this time, as well as throughout the day. Let's lift them up together again and prayerfully lean on the faithfulness and power of Christ. Thank you for praying and walking with them through this.
